Just imagine: the ocean, wind , your board, you and your friends . That is fantastic! Surfing was invented in Hawaii. It is a main water sport in the USA, Australia, South Africa and South America. Thousands of young people go surfing. It helps you to keep fit and enjoy yourself. A surfer needs a good sense of coordination, balance and, of course, good swimming skills. Expert surfers , or hotdoggers, have developed special techniques. Some of them even ride the boards standing on their heads. I can not di it ,but I hope to master this technique. I hope surfing will be included in the programme of the Olympic Games.

Серфинг был изобретен на Гавайях. Это основной вид водного спорта в США, Австралии, Южной Африке и Южной Америке. Тысячи молодых людей занимаются серфингом. Он помогает поддерживать себя в форме и наслаждаться жизнью. Серферу необходимо хорошее чувство координации, равновесия и, конечно же, хорошие навыки плавания.
Опытные серферы, или хот-доггеры, разработали специальные методы. Некоторые из них даже катаются на досках, стоя на голове. Я не могу этого сделать, но надеюсь овладеть этой техникой.
Надеюсь, что серфинг будет включен в программу Олимпийских игр.
