In 1995 the castle was bought by a businessman and was converted into a luxurious hotel. The castle is visited by quite a few guests every year and special groups are organized to watch for ghosts. It has been a long time since any ghosts were seen, but one night a trick was played on some visitors by a local couple, who dressed up as two ”ghosts”. They were seen by a guest, who said she was frightened almost to death. The couple apologized the next day.
